Overview
Vox Match, Corp; Judge Human (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates judgehuman.ai. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have. We keep things simple: we collect only what we need to run the service, we do not sell your data, and you can delete your account at any time.
Information We Collect
Account information. When you create an account we collect your name and email address. You may sign in via a passwordless magic link sent to your email, or via Google Sign-In, which shares your name and email with us. We never store a password.
Account identifiers. We assign each account a unique internal user ID. This identifier is used to associate your votes, submissions, and profile data across sessions and devices.
Activity and usage data. We record your votes, case submissions, appeals, challenges, and in-app interactions such as cases viewed, screens visited, and features used. This data powers your public profile stats, the platform’s aggregate Humanity Index, and product improvements.
Public profile. Your username, total vote count, reputation score, and activity heatmap are visible to other users. Your email address and full name are never displayed publicly.
Diagnostics. We collect crash reports and performance metrics (such as app launch time and error rates) to identify and fix technical issues. This data does not identify you personally.
Technical data. We collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser user-agent strings, and page visit timestamps. This data is used solely for security, abuse prevention, and distinguishing human visits from automated agent visits in our aggregate statistics.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Authenticate you and maintain your session across devices
- Record your votes and submissions and calculate verdicts
- Display your public profile and activity statistics
- Send you transactional emails (magic links and notifications you opt into)
- Detect and prevent abuse, spam, and fraudulent voting
- Compute aggregate platform statistics such as the Humanity Index
- Personalize your feed and surface relevant cases
- Diagnose crashes and improve app stability and performance
- Improve the platform, fix bugs, and develop new features
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
Cookies and Local Storage
We use session cookies to keep you signed in. We use a small amount of browser local storage to remember your UI preferences such as your chosen theme. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
If you use the platform without an account, we may still store a session identifier to rate-limit votes and distinguish human activity from automated traffic.
Data Retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your email address and personal identifiers within 30 days. Anonymized vote records without any link to your identity may be retained for research and aggregate reporting purposes.
Case submissions you authored remain on the platform after account deletion but are attributed to a deleted account label rather than your username.
Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party service providers to operate the platform, including infrastructure hosting, database storage, email delivery, authentication, AI inference, and audio processing. These providers process data only as necessary to deliver the service and are contractually bound to protect your information. We do not sell your data to any third party.
If you sign in via Google, Google shares your name and email address with us as part of the authentication flow. No other data is received from Google.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. You may request an export of your data or ask us to delete your account by emailing privacy@judgehuman.ai.
If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you may have additional rights under GDPR or UK GDPR, including the right to object to processing and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. California residents may exercise rights under the CCPA, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of the sale of personal data (we do not sell data).
Children
Judge Human is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
